I finally got Tay in for pictures. It seems like forever. I think they turned out really nice! She is getting so mature. Now I have to get Tierney in!

Grandma

Marshall's grandma and I had a party for Megan last night. She started selling Butterfly Boutique. It was really nice the girls got to spend some time before and after the party with Grandma Ann!

Dresses

We went and got fitted for our dresses for Meg's wedding yesterday. Tierney got to come home with hers (except for the sash). They had to order both mine and Tay's. I don't have a picture of Tay in hers since the one they had was huge on her. They are both very excited for the wedding.

Inside the cave

This past weekend we went to Harmony Minnesota to tour Niagra Cave and picnic with my parents, my brother, Beth, Hailey, my uncle Dennis, aunt Kathy, cousin Katie and her daughter Jade. It was a lot of fun. Tierney was scared to death of the cave at first and wouldn't even walk. She finally seemed to get better and seemed to enjoy herself. She must have still been scared because Sunday night she was up about every half an hour to hour crying in her sleep to let her out of the cave. That poor girl!

We went to my parents' house a couple of weekends ago (I'm really slow about getting pictures posted lately). Tierney and Hailey got along great. It is amazing how some days they can be best friends and get along great and other days they fight like sisters! Here are some pictures from the day.

Married

Here is a picture of Roscoe's wife Rosebud. Yeah Tay and her friend Hannah arranged the wedding. This was supposed to be from their wedding day. The girls had fun planning the wedding!

The mind of a 4-year old

It is amazing some of the things that Tierney has to say. I'm not sure where she comes up with some of it and at times her honestly kills us. Here are some examples from the past week.

Dogs can't get bug bites because they have fur.

We will have to buy another bed when she has a baby because her bed isn't big enough and where would she sleep.

Later she informed us she doesn't want to have a baby because she doesn't want to change diapers.

She informed me on the way to the zoo very mad that I lied. When I asked why she informed me that I said I hate things that fly (which is true) and that is a lie since I was going to go into the butterfly garden. She had a very good point and I had to explain that I was only going in the butterfly garden because it was something she and Tay wanted to do and moms do things they don't like to do if it makes their children happy.

She is lucky and I am not because she only gets tan from the sun and I get burned. (Very true).

She wants Roscoe to be 20 so we can get another dog and have a girl and a boy dog. (Tierney has always wanted a girl dog).

She doesn't like to listen and we should all listen to her.

I should now explain the next couple of statements. We have decided to send Tierney to a different preschool this year. It is at Tay's school and she is excited to go there but I also know she worries a lot like me and doesn't like change. She asked me last night what happens if kids say naughty words and if her teacher is mean.

She amazes me all the time with the things that she has to say!

We went over to Spillville last night for fireworks with Marshall's family. We grilled out and the kids did sparklers and poppers while they waited for the fireworks to start. It was really nice and the fireworks were awesome.

We went to Omaha the past couple days to go to the zoo. It was really nice to go somewhere just the four of us. The zoo was nice although it rained off and on throughout the day. We stayed overnight and the girls got to go swimming which they love.

We ended up making it to the pool again. The weather was beautiful but we could only stay a few hours since Tierney had a game that night. We are now done with all of our ball stuff so hopefully we will be able to make it at least once a week!
