Tierney

We just got a note that next week we have to register our baby for kindergarten. I cannot believe it. She is excited for next year because she gets to stay at school all day. She is already writing all the letters in the alphabet and is trying so hard to read different words. I cannot believe how grown up she is getting. Oh and I have to share some of the funny things she has said in the past couple weeks.

"I need a sick day from dance" ha and then when I said if she needed a break she could take a day off she had a fit that she had to go because it might be her turn to be the leader.

She informed me that she hasn't had a peanut butter sandwich (Girl Scout cookie) yet and I said no one has and we aren't eating them for breakfast. She asked why not because it's just peanut butter and crackers.

I think the best and my favorite is that she informed Tay and her friend the other day that she just likes regular beer but her dad doesn't get that kind anymore so she just doesn't drink beer. Umm okay not sure when she is drinking beer!

Twin Ponds

Here are some pictures from this past Sunday, took the girls to the Nature Center. They were having an afternoon with activities and Tierney asked several times to go. They made bracelets, learned about the constalations, and did a few other activities. The girls really had a good time with it!

Tierney's Costumes

Tierney was so excited to get her dance costumes. She just couldn't get them on quick enough. This is the first year that hers fit! Nana doesn't have to do any alterations for us for her costumes this year! She is very concerned that people will laugh at her in her top costume which is a clown costume but it is much cuter than I thought it'd be and I'd have to say she looks pretty darn cute!

Dance Watch Night

The girls had watch night for dance two weeks ago. I always love to go and see the progress they have made in the past few months. I'm not so sure about some of the moves in Tay's jazz dance (that shows my age)!

Wow

I cannot believe I haven't taken the time to update this. We have been really busy lately. It seems like our free time is very limited right now. Tay is playing on a tournament basketball team and they have been having practices two to three times a night. They have their last tournament on Sunday. Tay really has learned a lot. They had never played a game until their first tournament and I think they have done pretty good. There was also a week this month that one of the kids was sick each day... not real fun.

I will try to get some pictures posted tonight of the girls. They are growing so fast. I can't believe this school year is over in a few months. Oh yes and Miss Tierney is so boy crazy. She has a new boyfriend but was talking to Tay the other night that maybe she should break up with him so she doesn't have a boyfriend anymore. Oh brother! Then there is Tay who thinks all the boys at her school are dorks! Gotta love it. Marshall has been working a lot so we haven't seen much of him between him working and trying to sleep and us running almost every night. We are looking forward to next weekend as we don't have any plans!
