Wow! When did my girls start looking so old. I think these pictures really show how grown up they are getting. I am so happy with all of their pictures this year. They look beautiful!

Girls

Some of the things the girls do just kill me. For example this week Tierney came home all sweaty from school and I asked her what happened and she informed me "I've been chasing those boys". Oh brother. Then the other day Tay came home and told me that one of her teachers was scolding the class saying that he thinks some of the kids are missing school to go shopping and do other things and are getting behind. Apparently he even named some names. Tay told us she started to sweat. Ha. Because we are guilty of that... I thought only on one occasion last week when I got her out in the afternoon when they were watching a movie to do her summer shopping. Then she reminded us that she also went to Mall of America last month for Hailey's birthday. Oops! Then Marshall reminded her that she shouldn't worry since she isn't behind and has all A's so the teacher probably didn't suspect her until she started sweating and had a guilty look!

Bowling

Tierney bowling

Jaiden, Tierney, Ashley, Kandice, and Sierra

The entire preschool got to go bowling yesterday. Tierney was so excited for this day. She has been talking about it for weeks. Every lane was full and the poor owner had to cringe everytime a ball was "thrown" and I mean thrown. It was crazy. Myself and a dad were in charge of our group which was all girls.... which was nice as they seemed pretty mellow compared to some of the groups!

Kim's Benefit

My aunt was diagnosed with cancer shortly after Christmas this year. Some family and friends but together a benefit for her last Saturday. Here are some pictures of Tierney and Great Grandma Jan at the benefit.

Sewing Project

We took our troop to the local quilting shop to make oven mitts for their moms for Mother's Day. They really had a lot of fun. Some of the girls have never sewed before so it was quite an experience. The ladies at the shop were great with them.

We had a busy Easter. Tierney woke us up right at seven. Then the girls hunted their eggs at our house and did their baskets. Then we went to Nana and Papa's for breakfast where they hunted more Easter eggs. After that we went to Grandma Thea and Grandpa Lewie's for lunch. No egg hunt there but they had Easter baskets (bags) from grandma and grandpa. It was a very busy day but everyone had a lot of fun.

The day before Easter....

We started the day with an Easter Egg hunt out at the park. Tierney was so excited... she was hoping to find the golden egg. Neither of the girls found the wining eggs but still had fun. Then we dyed our eggs. Tierney was so funny and said the Easter Bunny would probably give her and Tay extra stuff since their eggs were so good. Gotta love how her mind works!

Easter Bunny

I took Tierney to see the Easter Bunny yesterday. She was so excited to see him and wasn't scared at all. She walked right up sat on his lap and got her picture taken. It's amazing how much she has matured in the past year. I think the pictured turned out pretty good!

Tierney had her Easter party in Wednesday. I was lucky enough to get to help. They were really busy. Each child brought a plastic egg filled with a surprise for every other student. Then we went on the playground and each child hid the eggs they brought and then they had to hunt and find the eggs with their name on it. Lets just say that was close to 600 eggs and the teachers and I had to help hunt by the end. Then they played games, did projects, and had snacks. It was a lot of fun.

We had dance pictures this week. After six years I am much more relaxed on this day. We even went for ice cream beforehand. My mom was able to come and help which is great for Tierney. Then she doesn't have to stand around being bored while Tay is getting all of her pictures. Mom actually stayed and finished up Tierney's last class picture since I had to go to a softball meeting. I can't wait to see the pictures. The girls looked so pretty!
