These are the girls' dance pictures this year.  Sadly this is Tay's last year of dance.  She debated about quiting last year and decided to do one more year.  She feels that with adding school sports to her AAU sports that it will be too much.  The rational side of me agrees but it is still sad.  Tierney because she likes to be just like her big sister thinks she may quit too but I can see that changing.  She is so excited to get her five year ribbon this year that I can see her continuing but I guess we will see!

Easter 2012

We had a very busy Easter this year.  The girls dyed eggs the night before.  On Easter morning they hunted their eggs and baskets then we went to Nana and Papa's where they dyed more eggs and hunted eggs.  Easter afternoon we went to Marshall's parents where they had an outside egg hunt.  Tierney loves to hunt eggs!

Dells

I'm not sure why these pictures are so small but when I try to enlarge them they look blurry??  We went to the Dells in March with four other couples and their kids.  It was so nice to have a weekend to get away and relax.  We spent a lot of time at the water parks.  The kids also went go carting, played laser tag, bumper boats, mini golf, etc.  We all took a boat tour of the upper Dells.  We spent the weekend walking around in shorts in the middle of March.  It was crazy!

Hailey's Birthday Party

We had a surprise birthday party for Hailey's 6th birthday at the Super 8.  It was so cute when she got there and the kids were in their swimsuits she asked if she could swim!

Tierney Girl Scouts.... Bead Happy

We took Tierney's Girl Scout Troop to Bead Happy.  Tay went along to help the girls.  They made some beautiful necklaces and bracelets!

Tierney Mini Pom

Poor Tierney seems to get hauled all over and she gets frustrated that there isn't volleyball and some older activities for her.  There was a mini pom event that she performed in.  It was interesting squeezing that in with basketball but she got to all the practices and was able to perform at half time of the girls basketball game.   She loves to perform in front of anyone!

Tay AAU Volleyball 2012

Tay played AAU volleyball again.  We had so many girls out this year that we divided the girls into three teams so they would all have a lot more playing time.  Tay loves volleyball and their team really improved this past year.  I think this sport is one that Tay is the most hard on herself about.  I think she expects perfection and doesn't always remember that she is only in sixth grade!  She is going to go to the Iowa volleyball camp this year in addition to the New Hampton one.  I'm keeping my eyes open for any others as well.  She wouldn't know what to do if she isn't busy most of the summer!

Tay Basketball 2011-2012

Tay played on a travel basketball team this year.  They played in a league out of Postville and played in the New Hampton tournament.  I never thought Tay was aggressive until I saw her play basketball... a whole different side of her comes out.  If you notice she has the same basketball number as her Uncle Nate!

Once Again...

I have fallen behind on posting to our blog.  I think part of the problem is I am so slow to get pictures off of my camera.  I spent four hours the other day uploading them so I could get an order placed.  I also filled up seven new photo albums of pictures.  I'm hoping to stay on top of them now that I have them caught up!

The past few months have been very busy.  Tay finished her basketball league, started and finished AAU volleyball, and has started her tournament team for softball.  It was amazing to see how much her volleyball team has improved since last season!  Tay has become a very good setter.

Both girls are doing dance and Girl Scouts this year as well.  With all the craziness we were even able to get a weekend away at the Dells with some friends in March.

It is so hard to believe the girls only have fourteen days left of school.  We will have a seventh and second grader in a few weeks!  I will get pictures posted of the past couple of months!
