We took the girls to Mall of America this week. They have been wanting to go to the American Girl store and we finally got them there. I told Marshall that we needed to go now while Tay still likes them as those are the only girly thing that she still plays with! They had a ton of fun and Tierney said she wants to stay at that mall forever.

Christmas Day 2009
I just have to share that a few days before Christmas Tierney told me that Santa would not be bringing her anything because she was on the naughty list. When I asked why she thought that she informed me that she has been very bad and so naughty. I tried explaining that we are all naughty sometimes and we all need to work harder to be better. Then last night she told Tay and I that Santa brought her presents even though she was naughty. Oh boy. I tried explaining that Santa gives second chances and we if we don't work hard to be good he might not bring us presents next year... I don't want her to be extra naughty since she still got presents. I sure wish I could get in that childs' mind!
We had a wonderful Christmas at home minus the fact that my poor husband had to have mac and cheese and frozen pizza for Christmas dinner since the ham was still frozen!

Christmas 2009

I am really slow this year with everything! We finally got the girls' Christmas pictures taken. I think they turned out pretty good. You can't really tell they are Christmas pictures since the ones we liked most you can't see the Christmas background. I think they are starting to look more alike each day and I can't believe how big they are getting! We hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!

Life
Geez we have been busy and haven't taken the time to post anything. Roscoe was really sick last week for a couple of days. I was really scared but by last Friday he was doing a lot better. The vet thinks he had the flu. Now I haven't felt well since then but at least I am not puking. And now Marshall is getting what I have so stay away from our house. Oh and Tierney has a sore throat. For once Tay is the only one who is healthy! The kids had a snow day today. The snow is past my knees in the driveway. Marshall got one side cleared out so he could get the car in but is waiting to work on the rest. At least with the weather we have to stay home!

Tierney School
Time
I'm not sure where the time has gone. Our baby turned five last weekend and I've been off for over a week and haven't gotten any pictures posted. Tay missed school the days they had it this week due to being sick. She still is coughing and seems to get run down easy. We have an easy week this next week so hopefully that will help also. Last Friday I spent the day at Tierney's school for her birthday. She was also the star of the week so I helped tell about her favorite things and show her pictures. I then got to read a story to the class. Of course Tierney picked a Fancy Nancy book. This week Marshall and I helped with the class' food tasting party which was quite interesting. For Thanksgiving we went to my grandma's. Today we went to my parents' and my dad and Marshall were cutting wood. Well they found a kitten that they brought home to my parents' house. The girls are in love and have named her Lily. We will see if she sticks around mom and dad's. The week has flown by and so has the past five years. I just cannot believe that our baby is five. How on earth do we have a ten and five year old already?

Tierney 5th Birthday Party
We had Tierney's 5th birthday party Saturday at the Super 8. She has said for the past year she's wanted a swimming party. She had a ton of fun with everyone. Hailey and Nate came over after and ended up staying over which was a ton of fun. All the kids got along without any blow outs!!
