Christmas Day 2012

We spent Christmas day at home... just the five of us.  It was a wonderful first Christmas for Miss Harper.  The girls took turns opening Harper's presents for her.  The best was the present Tierney gave her... a little radio that makes noise.  Harper giggled every time we'd press the buttons.  At breakfast Tierney said "this is the best Christmas ever"  when we asked why she said "because Harper's here".  I think that was the best part of my day!

We spent Christmas Eve day and evening at my parents' house.  The little girls played outside in the morning.  We went to candle light service in the evening and spent the day snacking!

Holiday Season

I love the holidays.  I love how excited the girls get about Christmas!

 We bought a gingerbread house for the girls to put together.  Well needless to say it was a little bit of a struggle.  Tay ended up breaking out the hot glue gun to glue the house together since the frosting wasn't holding it!

Big Sister Tierney

It has taken Tierney some time to adjust to being a big sister.  She really wasn't sure about being in "the middle" and having a younger sister but she really enjoys it now.  She is a great help.  She will get Harper her pacifier, talk to her, or pat her tummy if she needs some attention.  About two weeks ago Tierney said "I really like Harper".  Got to love it since she's here to stay!

Tierney's 8th bday party

These are just a little late but these are some pictures from Tierney's birthday party at Nana and Papa's on Thanksgiving.  Nana worked hard to have a penguin party for Tierney and made some pinatas for her.  Jordan also made her an awesome candy cake!

Sisters

Tierney really idolizes her big sister.  Tay gets very frustrated at times because Tierney wants to be just like her.  Tierney always wants the same shirts that Tay gets and to do the same sports.  I love this picture of them getting along, playing DS and Tierney dressed like her big sister!

Miss Harper

Harper was two months old on Saturday.... where does the time go.  She is growing like a weed and is as happy as ever.  She laughs and smiles all the time.  She loves to snuggle and is such a sweetie.  We had her two month appointment on Wednesday December 13th.  She weighed eleven pounds and eleven ounces (61%) and is 21.5 inches long (14%)... yep she's short like Tierney.  She got her first shots which she didn't like.  Marshall stayed in for that... I couldn't stand to be in there.  I knew she'd cry and since she never cries I struggle with that especially knowing it would hurt her.  She was fussy that night but back to her self the next day.  We also got her two month pictures taken after her shots.  I cannot wait to get them on Thursday to share!  Tierney even stated last week "I like Harper".  Well that's good since she isn't going anywhere because we love that girl more and more everyday!!
